For many seniors, getting out into the community is difficult. Mobility issues, transportation issues, and, of course, the cold of winter keep many people isolated.

Edmonton Southside Primary Care Network, funded in part by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program, has recently launched a new program to help seniors over 55 connect and engage in interesting topics all over the telephone. The Seniors' Centre Without Walls program is a free telephone program that offers recreational activities, health and wellness topics, and friendly conversation for older adults.

Registration and participation is free. Seniors can participate in as many or as few programs as they'd like, depending on their availability and interest.

For more information, please visit the Seniors' Centre Without Walls website or give us a call at (780) 608-4927.

    To register, call (780) 395-2626.
