• PCN Announces their Newest Team Member

    The Camrose Primary Care Network (PCN) is pleased to introduce the newest member of our team, Victoria Stokes, RSW.  Victoria began her role in March as the new PCN Social Worker, a position which has been long awaited for by the PCN Physicians, healthcare providers and patients.

    New to Camrose, Victoria is excited about her role in the PCN.  She is a graduate from Grant MacEwan University with a background in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, and Sociology.  Her Social Work experience includes working for the Government of Alberta Family and Child Services, Downtown Edmonton Inner City as a Social Worker in Addictions and Mental Health as well as in mental health Community Outreach and Programming.

    Victoria will be working with the PCN team and patients in providing:

    • Short term counseling;
    • Helping patients with financial barriers;
    • Referring and educating patients about resources;
    • Advocating; and
    • Supporting patients in reaching their goals in health and wellness

    “We have a professional and energetic team of physicians and healthcare providers at the PCN who are dedicated to supporting and empowering people in achieving their health care goals” states Stacey Strilchuk, Executive Director. “Victoria will be a great addition to the Camrose PCN and her skill set and experience will be of great benefit to our patients.”
